Effects

Mental Effects
For the first article, I will use the sleep and nervous disorders as minor examples and drug use and suicide thoughts as more serious examples.  I want them to see that abortion although it may seem harmless, can cause lasting effects on the women that will cause potentially life-threatening situations.  In addition, leading them to the knowledge that counseling before and after abortion is the best way to prevent these effects.  Which is what the doctors recommend and usually require to have the women be informed of their decision.
Physical Effects
Before every surgical procedure, patients are informed of the potential risks of an operation.  But if you are never put in the circumstances, you probably won’t know about what may happen.  In the second article I will use these physical effect short term being, nausea, bleeding, etc, and long term, cervical damage and others, to help people see more clearly the dangers of this  procedure.  These side effects will not happen every time, but there is a possibility and people deserve to know.
Why
The audience probably doesn’t know some of the after effects that abortion may have.  This will give specific examples of what effects have been recorded and will give them more knowledge to base their opinions on.  The purpose of these sources is mainly to inform the audience, not so much persuade.
