Effects

Mental Effects For the first article, I will use the sleep and nervous disorders as minor examples and drug use and suicide thoughts as more serious examples.  I want them to see that abortion although it may seem harmless, can cause lasting effects on the women that will cause potentially life-threatening situations.  In addition, leading them to the knowledge that counseling before and after abortion is the best way to prevent these effects.  Which is what the doctors recommend and usually require to have the women be informed of their decision. Physical Effects Before every surgical procedure, patients are informed of the potential risks of an operation.  But if you are never put in the circumstances, you probably won’t know about what may happen.  In the second article I will use these physical effect short term being, nausea, bleeding, etc, and long term, cervical damage and others, to help people see more clearly the dangers of this  procedure....

Research Topic

I am writing an informational research paper about abortion.  The question I will be trying to answer is ‘What are the effects of abortion?”  While giving history and background information about methods and procedures of abortion, I will explore the various effects of abortion on women and men.  I am going to use articles that are accounts from women, doctors and others involved in the abortion process.  I have stories from women that have decided to have an abortion and why they chose what they did.  Staying neutral to both sides of the conversation will be an essential part of the informative process.  That being said I will attempt to give each side equal representation.  I will address the issue of the ethics, but it will not be the main focus.
